Oasis Knebworth parking, without Junction 7.
One hundred pre-booked, marshalled parking spaces a show day on our own field at Old Knebworth. You approach from the west via the B656 and Codicote, on the far side of the estate from the official car parks, and you leave whenever you like. £35 per car per show day, the same price as the official car park.
why the official car parks are the problem
Every official Knebworth car park is reached from the A1(M) Junction 7 roundabout (northern traffic is sent down the B197 from Junction 8). At Iron Maiden in July 2026, with roughly 50,000 people, fans reported “almost four hours queuing on the A1(M) to get into the car park” and “3–5 hour delays after the gig”, with some not leaving until 12:50 am. Knebworth House said it was investigating. Oasis is licensed for 125,000 a day.
The promoter's own advice for 2027 is not to drive. If you are driving anyway, the only way to avoid the queue is to not be in it: use a car park that is not fed from Junction 7.
why only a hundred spaces
Because a small car park run well beats a big one run badly. A hundred pre-booked cars is what our lane and our stewards handle without queuing, and it keeps the hamlet on side. If the lane is clear on the day we release more spaces from the gate, and you can scan the QR there and pay on your phone. Do not turn up hoping; book.
how it works
Our field is at Old Knebworth, a separate hamlet on the west side of the estate, reached by lanes from the B656 on the Codicote and Welwyn side. Your ticket carries the satnav postcode, a what3words pin and turn-by-turn directions. The gate opens at 09:00 on show days.
A steward scans the QR code on your phone, points you to a row, and you park nose-to-tail in a marked bay. Aisles are kept clear. Blue-badge bays are nearest the gate and the walk-out. You then walk or take our shuttle to the show; we publish the confirmed route to every ticket holder at least 14 days before the first date.
After the show there is no block release. You walk back to a lit field, drive out the way you came, and never touch the event exit routes. If you would rather not drive at midnight, book a glamping bell tent in the hotel and leave in the morning.
price, payment and refunds
£35 per car, per show day, pre-booked only, paid in full when you book. That includes a marked bay, marshals and lighting, and access to the bar, the food traders and the toilets in the compound in the hotel field before and after the show. There are no facilities in the car park itself.
Cancel for any reason up to 1 June 2027 for a full refund. After that the space is non-refundable, except that we refund in full if the show is cancelled, the site cannot open, or an official road closure makes the site unreachable by car.
campervans, blue badges, motorbikes
Campervans and motorhomes are welcome for a show day (book two adjacent spaces if you are over 5.5 m) but cannot stay overnight; the overnight offer is the hotel. Blue-badge holders: book normal parking and tell us at the gate; the first bays of row one are reserved and closest to the walk-out. Motorbikes park free in the marshal's corner if the rider has a car-park booking in the group; otherwise book a normal space.

Is this the official Oasis Knebworth car park?+
No. We are an independent, privately run field at Old Knebworth on the opposite side of the estate from the official car parks. We do not sell concert tickets.
How far is the walk to the arena?+
Budget 30 to 40 minutes door to door on foot or by our shuttle. The exact route is confirmed with the estate and published to ticket holders at least 14 days before the show.
Can I leave straight after the show?+
Yes. There is no block release. You leave the way you came, from the west, away from the event exit routes.
What if roads are closed on the day?+
Our approach is from the B656 side, not the A1(M) J7 or the B197. We cannot control the public roads; if an official closure ever made the site unreachable you would get a full refund.
Can I pay on the day?+
Only if we release extra spaces on the day, which we decide at the gate depending on the lane. Pre-booking is the only way to be sure.
