One hundred pre-booked, marshalled parking spaces a show day on our own field at Old Knebworth. You approach from the west via the B656 and Codicote, on the far side of the estate from the official car parks, and there is no block release in our car park; allow time after the show, as the police or stewards can hold traffic on the public roads. £35 per car per show day, the price the official car park charged in 2026.
why the official car parks are the problem
At previous shows every official Knebworth car park was reached from the A1(M) Junction 7 roundabout (northern traffic was sent down the B197 from Junction 8). At Iron Maiden in July 2026, with roughly 50,000 people, fans reported “almost four hours queuing on the A1(M) to get into the car park” and “3–5 hour delays after the gig”. Knebworth House said it was investigating. The Oasis shows are licensed for 125,000 a day.
The promoter's own advice for 2027 is not to drive. If you are driving anyway, the only way to avoid the queue is to not be in it: use a car park that is not fed from Junction 7.
why only a hundred spaces
Because a small car park run well beats a big one run badly. A hundred pre-booked cars is what our lane and our team handle comfortably, and it keeps the roads around Old Knebworth calm. Pre-booked only; do not turn up hoping.
how it works
Our field is at Old Knebworth, a separate hamlet on the west side of the estate, reached by lanes from the B656 on the Codicote and Welwyn side. Your ticket carries the postcode and directions. The gate opens at 09:00 on show days, and the car park closes at 02:00 after the show.
A steward scans the QR code on your phone and points you to your marked bay. Blue-badge bays are nearest the gate and the walk-out. You then walk to the show on the route we send every guest beforehand.
After the show there is no block release in our car park. You walk back to a lit field and drive out the way you came, away from the Junction 7 exit routes; allow time, as the police or stewards can hold traffic on the public roads. If you would rather not drive at midnight, book a glamping bell tent and leave in the morning.
price, payment and refunds
£35 per car, per show day, pre-booked only, paid in full when you book on its own; added to a tent booking paid in stages, it is part of that booking's payments. That includes a marked bay, marshals and lighting, and access to the bar compound next to the glamping field, with its food traders and toilets, while it is open and has room. There are no facilities in the car park itself.
If you cancel, we keep 20% of the booking price up to 31 January 2027, 50% up to 1 June 2027 and all of it after that, but you can hand yours to someone else or change the car registration free of charge up to 7 days before the show, or ask us to resell it. If a show is cancelled, we refund parking for it in full. If a show is moved, your space moves with it where we can host the new date.
campervans and blue badges
Campervans and motorhomes can park for a show day (book two adjacent spaces if you are over 5.5 m) but cannot stay overnight: the car park closes at 02:00 after the show, and the overnight offer is the glamping. Blue-badge holders: book normal parking and tell us at the gate; the nearest bays are kept for you.

Is this the official Oasis Knebworth car park?+
No. We are a privately run field at Old Knebworth on the opposite side of the estate from the official car parks. We do not sell concert tickets.
How far is the walk to the arena?+
The park's Old Knebworth Lane entrance is a 15-minute walk from our site, passing the Lytton Arms pub about halfway. The route on to the arena depends on the entrances the organisers open, so it is confirmed nearer the time.
Can I leave straight after the show?+
Yes.* There is no block release. You leave the way you came, from the west, away from the event exit routes. *Unless the police or stewards hold traffic on the public roads after the show, so allow time.
What if roads are closed on the day?+
Our approach is from the B656 side, not the A1(M) Junction 7 or the B197. The public roads are run by the council and the police on the day, not by us, so leave early and follow our route rather than your satnav; we will help where we reasonably can. Can I pay on the day?+
No. Spaces are pre-booked only, so booking is the only way in.
